The Natural Medicine…How Water Cleanses the Human Body of Impurities

Water is a body cleansing agent and helps detox the body of wastes. The role of water in detoxifying the body is often one of the most advanced of the functions of water in the human body. Indeed, water has been termed as a natural medicine and its curative role may not be understood in the layman’s language. Water promotes the natural body defense mechanism. Water in the body enhances the absorption of nutrients and oxygen in the cells.

Water intake also increases the rate of chemical and substance excretion from the body through body fluids cleansing. Calcium and other toxins in body are excreted more frequently. Health conditions such as gouty arthritis are caused by these substances when they are deposited in the joints. Once these substances attach themselves to the walls of the blood vessels, they may as well block them resulting to blood pressure disorders.


Other conditions that occur due to increased chemical substances in the body include kidney stone, kidney failure, and liver damage. It is evident that, when the body does not receive adequate water, the amount of chemical wastes increase and this affects the body in the short or long term. The standard daily intake of water is 8-ounce glasses per day. There may be a slight increase when using water for body detoxification.


Water helps in the absorption of nutrients from the intestinal walls through the villae and microvillae. If the amount of water in the body is less, the absorption rate is decreased and vital nutrients may go unabsorbed. It is these nutrients that feed the cells that support the body systems. It is worthy while noting that, water shouldn’t be relied on as a drug to cure particular disease and conditions but it is a supportive detox agent for curative purposes.


The normal recommended routine intake of water has a great medication support in the body. Some of the effects of water intake may not be known to the patient but the fact is that water helps in keeping body health and free from infections. A good water intake practice should be exercised all the time.  When you take a few glasses of water in the morning, it ignites the function of organs.


Water also helps in the boosting of the activity of the body cells including the white blood cells which fight pathogens in the body. Pathogens are disease causing micro organisms such as bacteria, virus and fungi. Water clears harmful substances in the body cells hence enhancing their health and thus their defense mechanism. It transports these harmful substances to excretion points. Some of these toxins in body may be soluble while others are insoluble in water.


If insoluble, water provides an aiding mechanism through floating or suspension and pushing them out of the body. Some of these substances include cysteine, amino acids, uric acids and crystalline. People with good water intake practices have prevented and cleared illness with or without their knowledge. People should not only take in water when they feel thirsty. They should make it as a norm to take water through out as recommended by health experts in order to detox the body of impurities.
